About the Conference
Preparing for post-secondary education is an exciting and important step for high school students. The Link’s annual Leadership in Business Conference is for senior high school students who are preparing for the next step in their education. The Conference offers students a unique opportunity to explore topics in business at the post-secondary level, as well as experience life as a first year university student. Conference delegates join 150 other students at Wilfrid Laurier University for 4 days to compete in a live business case study competition, to see what it’s like to live on campus, gain business acumen, and most of all have fun!

Past Conferences
LIBC 2018 was our biggest success yet with a total of 150 delegates! We would like to thank all delegates, volunteers, special guests and sponsors for making last year’s conference such a memorable experience for all involved!
In the past years, we have been fortunate to have powerful keynote addresses from: Richard Peddie, former President & CEO of Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, Dr. Francis Pang a UN recognized education trailblazer, and Michael Ptasznik, CFO of TMX group.
In addition to a number of Lazaridis School of Business & Economics professors, we have had some amazing guest speakers such as Greg Overholt and Evan Thor address our delegates.
