A: A live business case is the central focus of the Leadership in Business Conference. As a delegate, you will be faced with a real-life scenario or problem that a company is currently having. Delegates will be responsible for working in teams and communicating a solution and analysis of the case similar to what is expected of students in the Business and Economics Program at Wilfrid Laurier University. On the final day of the conference, the teams who make it to the finals will have the opportunity to present their work to the owners or founders of the company.

A: No, the conference is independent of high schools. Students attend on their own.
Q: If a school sends a student, is the school responsible for the delegate fee?
A: No the school is not responsible for the fee, it is the delegate that is responsible for the payment.
Q: Our school would like to send a group of students to the conference and is interested in a group payment option.

A: To accommodate delegates, the conference will not be held during school hours. The conference will be running on Thursday and Friday evening, after regular school hours, all day Saturday and until the early afternoon on Sunday.

A: All content is taught by Wilfrid Laurier University Instructors and industry professionals. Successful upper year students act as mentors throughout the weekend to provide continuous support and guidance.
